My name is Ann, and I'm a breeder at the Leocat Bengal cattery. I've been breeding Bengal cats sinceĀ 2005. My cattery is registered in two international felinological systems: WCF and TICA.

Our main goal is to obtain a breed of cats that inherited the best of their parents: color quality, character, etc. Kittens leave the cattery after 12 weeks, vaccinated, healthy, accustomed to the litter box and scratching post.

About Bengal Cat Breed

Many people are fascinated with the interesting origin of the Bengals, which makes the breed in high demand. These enigmatic animals draw so much attention because of their beautiful coloring, strong muscular bodies, and streamlined appearance like their ancestors.

The breed originated from the Asian leopard that still inhabits South Asia. Bengal cats owe their appearance to an American woman named Jean Mill who was very interested in animal genetics. The history of the breed began in 1963 when a Bengal and a domestic cat first were crossed. Work on the breed continued until 1987 and four more years later the first representatives of the Bengals were officially registered and presented at shows.
